Colour Grading
Look development, shot matching, skin tone control, contrast shaping, SDR trims, and sequence-level balance in DaVinci Resolve, so every shot cuts together like it was lit that way.
Colour / Online / Finishing
I am Matteo Curcio, a Melbourne-based colourist, online editor, and finishing artist for commercial, branded, and agency post-production. I work remotely with teams that need sharp creative judgement, clean execution, and delivery they do not have to babysit.
Australian clients tend to write colourist and colour grading; American and international ones write colorist and color grading. Same work either way — commercial grading, online editing and finishing, delivered from Melbourne to anywhere.
Finishing is where jobs quietly go wrong: a grade that does not match across shots, an online that falls apart under agency notes, or a master bounced back on QC the day before air.
That is the part I take off your plate. Craft-level colour and finishing, plus the systems thinking to keep a commercial post job reliable under pressure, so what you deliver holds up the first time.
Look development, shot matching, skin tone control, contrast shaping, SDR trims, and sequence-level balance in DaVinci Resolve, so every shot cuts together like it was lit that way.
Conform checks, edit polish, cleanup, versioning, titles, supers, end cards, aspect-ratio versions, and agency review support, so the edit survives every round of notes without drift.
Export preparation, technical QC, codec choices, broadcast and web deliverables, social cutdowns, and final master handoff, so your master passes cleanly in every format it needs to land.
Practical help with messy handoffs, fragile timelines, storage structure, naming, renders, relinks, and the delivery details that tend to break late, so the job stays predictable even when the timeline is not.
Good Fit
I can join a project for a focused colour grade, take care of online editing and delivery, or help stabilise the workflow around a job that has too many moving parts. The work is practical, collaborative, remote-first, and built around the constraints of the actual production.
How It Works
The job does not need theatre. It needs a clear path from current state to approved delivery, with enough structure that notes, versions, and spec changes do not turn into avoidable mess.

Scope, timeline, remote review method, and delivery specs are agreed before the job starts.
Graded, finished, checked, and delivered in the versions required, without needing someone to babysit the process.
Mini FAQ
Day rate or fixed project quote, depending on the job. If the scope is clear, I can quote it as a package.
I work remotely only. It keeps the setup lean, removes room and attendance costs from my side, and means you are paying for the grade and the delivery rather than a bigger session footprint.
A locked cut if you have one, project files, camera originals or graded references, delivery specs, and anything the agency or client has already approved.
